Few foliage plants turn heads like Calathea orbifolia, with its huge, rounded leaves striped in silvery sage green. This one is grown in our Portland greenhouse, where the humidity suits it nicely, and it arrives full and well-rooted in a 6" pot. It prefers steady moisture, soft indirect light, and a spot away from cold drafts. Leaves fold up at night and open with the morning light, a habit we still find delightful after years of growing it.
