A Meyer lemon tree on the patio or in a sunny window brings glossy evergreen leaves, fragrant white blossoms, and sweet, thin-skinned lemons that are milder and more floral than the grocery store kind. Our dwarf trees are grafted, so they can fruit in a container within a year or two. They need lots of sun, regular feeding, and protection from frost, but they reward you with a harvest that is hard to beat. The leaves and peels contain oils that can upset cats and dogs, so keep the tree out of reach of pets.
