This everyday workhorse planter has a soft sage-green glaze, a slightly rounded belly, and a clean rim that suits almost any plant. The 10 inch inner diameter holds a 8 to 9 inch nursery pot comfortably, or you can plant directly into it with fresh mix. A drainage hole is drilled in the base, and a matching saucer keeps windowsills and floors dry. The glaze is fired to a glossy, durable finish that holds up to regular watering. We keep a stack of these in the greenhouse for repotting because they suit everything from a fiddle-leaf fig to a small citrus tree.
